Twist In Busia As Matiangi Orders Those Who Stoned William Ruto Motorcade Arrested With Immediate Effect

At least eight people have been arrested so far, and police are still looking for more suspects tied to the violent chaos that marred deputy president William Ruto's Busia visit on Saturday, the Ministry of Interior has said. 

According to a statement released on Sunday, Those who will be found culpable of having caused or instigated the chaos that marred Deputy President William Ruto's Busia rally will be punished. 

"We in the security sector have adopted a zero tolerance approach to those who would threaten our democratic values, starting with the perpetrators and organizers who disrupted H.E the DP WilliamsRuto tour in Busia. Political leaders and aspirants have a right to move freely."CS Matiangi.

In the approach the following year's General Elections, the CS said the public authority has reported zero capacity to bear savagery and urged security officials to apply the strategy "unbiasedly however solidly" the nation over. 

"Everybody has a right and a chance conceded by the Constitution to move around and engender their methods of reasoning. Along with my associates in the security area, we will do all that humanly conceivable to stay evenhanded, firm, and we will carry out the law rigorously."
