Several presidential candidates have toured Western region to popularize their presidential bids. They include deputy president William Ruto, former prime minister Raila Odinga and ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi.

Today ANC campaign brigade intensified Musalia Mudavadi presidential campaigns in larger Western region. The leaders camped at Shinyalu and Ikolomani constituencies in Kakamega county. This is one of the counties in larger Western region.

The ANC campaign brigade was led by Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala and Vihiga women representative Beatrice Adagala. The leaders are close allies and supporters of ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi. Yesterday the leaders led ANC campaigns in Lugari constituency.

The leaders urged Kakamega residents to join ANC party and fully support Musalia Mudavadi presidential bid in the coming election. The leaders also urged the locals to register in the ongoing voter registration drive. Senator Cleophas Malala also drummed support for his Kakamega gubernatorial bid.
