Today, Kitui county governor honourable Charity Ngilu is celebrating a special event in her life. The hardworking woman is having her birthday today. Several political leaders and celebrities have taken to social media to celebrate this special day with her.
One of the prominent leaders to celebrate Ngilu is NARC Kenya party leader honourable Martha Karua. Karua said;
"Happy birthday Mama Ngilu. May you have many happy returns."
The two iron ladies have played a very important role especially in politics of this country. From the past,they have been on the forefront especially in championing the rights of women in the country. One won her gubernatorial race (Ngilu) while the other one lost (Karua).
However, their differences were seen during the fight for Building Bridges Initiative. While Ngilu was championing for it, Karua was in court trying to block it. However, they have never shown their differences in public.
Wishing Charity Ngilu a happy birthday.
