Gov. Joho's High Profile Meeting Parallel With Uhuru's Nation Address That Has Excited Kenyans

The president has today afternoon addressed the nation from Parliament buildings - Nairobi. Among those who were in attendance were the Deputy President, Former Premier Raila Odinga, Speakers of the National Assembly and Senate among other distinguished leaders in government.

As the president told Kenyans about the state of the nation, achievements of the Jubilee government and how the country is doing economically, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho was was holding a meeting with the High Commissioner of India to Kenya.

They had an engaging session on matters of mutual interest such as education, healthcare as well as the blue economy.

" It was an honour to host the High Commissioner of India to Kenya H.E Dr. Virander K. Paul who paid me a courtesy call at my offices this afternoon. We held discussions on areas of mutual interest including education, healthcare and the blue economy amongst others. " Joho wrote.
