Ruto, Gachagua Revive 5-Day Campaigns In Uhuru's Hotbed After Raila & Karua Stormed Region

Kenya Kwanza brigade led by Deputy President William Ruto, Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua, Amani National Congress (ANC) party boss Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya head Moses Wetangula among other local hosts are expected to kick off five-days campaign tour in president Uhuru Kenyatta's backyard.

Ruto's move to storm the vote-rich region days after Raila settled on Narc Kenya party supremo Martha Karua is perceived to mollify and cement bottom-up economic narrative in the region that would hopefully counter Raila's Azimio - One Kenya.

He is expected to kick off his itineraries in Nakuru county where he will hold series of economic forum before embarking on campaign trails in Ol Kalou, Kipipiri and some neighbouring populated markets in the evening.

He will tour Embu County tomorrow (Friday) and later cape up the week in Murang'a on Saturday. Kenya Kwanza Alliance will on Sunday take the hustler nation narrative back to Nakuru and later finalize the five-tour of Mt Kenya in Kiambu on Monday.

"Ours is the economy and empowerment of every ordinary citizen. That is why we are going to have intense engagements with Wananchi and small scale business owners of Mt Kenya this week" Ruto told Kiambu leaders.

Ruto's lined-up tour comes a time when Azimio - One Kenya running mate nominee among other Azimio affiliates from Mt Kenya kicked off thorough campaigns to popularize Raila's presidency in the region.
