Today marked the beginning of vetting of Cabinet secretary nominees who will serve under Kenya Kwanza government. The vetting is set to go on until Saturday excluding Thursday because of Mashujaa Day celebration.
The first person to be vetted today in the morning was Musalia Mudavadi who was nominated by President William Ruto to serve as prime cabinet secretary.
After his vetting, Nandi senator Samson Cherargei took to twitter to express his view on Musalia Mudavadi's vetting. He said that Mudavadi is soft-spoken gentleman and shall be number three in government structure.
"H.E Mudavadi is a fine & soft-spoken gentleman. He shall be Prime cabinet secretary/PM that's NO. 3 in govt structure. After 10yrs in courtesy of Tinga he comes back to govt courtesy of H.E. Ruto. This vetting is a matter of procedure all nominees shall be approved!.
Good day " He tweeted
Let's wait and see if indeed Mudavadi will be approved.
