As the Hustler Nation was celebrating an early lead at Juja by elections last evening after taking the lead. The other side had bad plans and so they executed them before the vote counting by Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commission (IEBC) could be completed.
On a letter issued by the Electoral body IEBC and posted on their official tweeter handle, the body claimed that the had to suspend the entire process of tallying the votes. This was to make sure that the staff and electoral material safe.
The IEBC confirmed that at around 10:20pm the night of 18th May 2021, a group of individuals led by the Kiambu County Governor Mr. James Nyoro disrupted the tallying process at Mangu High School Tally Center in Juja Constituency.
Below is the letter that Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission posted.
This was a move that brings so many questions to Kenyans. Is there leaders who have integrity in Kenya?
Below is the post that IEBC shared on the suspension.
