Today the popular Churchill Comedian MC Jessy has officially defected from MBUS party and joined UDA party.
The youthful comedian was officially welcomed to UDA party by deputy president William Ruto at his official residence in Karen. He wished him all the best in his political dream.

" Churchill Comedian MC Jessy who is vying for Imenti seat has joined UDA party" wrote Muranga senator Irungu Kangata on his official Facebook page.

MC Jessy joined MBUS party last year. He was among the first leaders from Meru county who joined the new party which is led by Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi and the former Embu senator Lenny Kivuti.

Comedian Jessy is vying for South Imenti parliamentary seat. He will be competing with the incumbent South Imenti legislator for the UDA party ticket.
The winner of UDA party ticket will battle with Gideon Kimanthi who is the chief of staff in Meru County. Gideon Kimanthi enjoys massive support from Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi and will be vying for the parliamentary seat using MBUS party ticket.
