Kisii Senator Onyonka Holds First Public Hearing That Has Set Plans To End Simba Arati Rule

During the 9th August 2022 general elections, former Dagoretti North member of parliament cum Kisii governor Simba Arati, former Kitutu Chache South MP cum senator Richard Onyonka, and former radio presentor cum women representative Dorice Aburi moved around Kisii county campaigning and luckily they all got elected.

It is now close to three months after the election that senator Richard Onyonka and Simba Arati have had a noisy broke out.

Today Richard Onyonka led leaders and people from his sub-clan (abagetutu) in declaring their grievances to Simba Arati. As aired by those who spoke majorly in the Abagusii language, they are against the move by the governor to demote county workers who are drawn from their sub-clan.

With MPs Japhet Nyakundi, Anthony Kibagendi and Senator Onyonka they have warned Simba Arati against any demotion of workers from their sub-clan, if Simba Arati fails to hear their cry, they have promised to impeach him or wait for 2027 to sent him home.

Senator Onyonka has said that should Arati change his ways, they are going to support him for a second, should he do the contrary, he should be aware that he (Richard Onyonka) he will be in the ballot to determine who is a man enough, whether he says he has money or not.
