Gachagua who is on record accusing media of consistently misquoting him is again on the spot after lying live on a National Tv while appearing for an interview at Citizen TV.
The Deputy President made some statements about Forex (foreign Exchange) that have now been strongly contradicted by Central Bank of Kenya.
The self proclaimed son of Mau Mau had claimed that the Central Bank of Kenya currently lacks foreign currency to import fuel.
"We don't have foreign exchange, even yesterday there at the Central Bank of Kenya we didn't have enough foreign currency to import fuel from overseas" Gachagua claimed.
However CBK Governor has contradicted the Deputy President painting him as a man who spoke what he wasn't sure of on National TV.
According to Central Bank, they don't supply foreign exchange for transactions other than for the National Government or CBK operations.
This is another huge blunder for the Deputy President, coming just few days after he made an outrageous "Shamba system" remark.
He later cleared the air and accused the media of misinformation. He also yesterday in his exclusive interview reiterated the same asking the Media to leave him alone.
