Information Communication and Technology cabinet secretary Eliud Owalo has pleaded with Siaya residents an leaders to help him welcome his excellency president William Ruto to Siaya county this Saturday during his homecoming ceremony where the vocal cabinet secretary will be welcomed to his home county since he was appointed by president William Ruto into his cabinet.
Speaking during the 103 Anniversary Commemoration of the founder of the Nomiya Church, the late Johana Owalo who died in the year 1921 in Siaya county, Owalo has asked everyone to come out in large numbers and welcome his excellency the president to Siaya county for his state visit to the county.
"I want to take this opportunity to welcome all during the Saturday function which will be attended by president William Ruti and his cabinet. Please don't disappoint me, come out in large numbers and welcome the head of state and government president William Ruto," Hon Owalo said during this function.
The function, at the Nomiya church headquarters, at Oboch, Asembo was also attended by other leaders including Nikolus Gumbo, Martine Ogindo, Mwalimu Odoyo Owalo among other leaders mainly from the Luo nyanza region.
