Leaders are now racing with time looking for votes in every corner of the country to help them clinch to power in next year's polls. Orange Democratic Movement ( ODM) leader Raila, United Democratic Alliance leader William Ruto, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Wiper leader are among the few in the congested presidential race. They have been moving round the country drumming their bids and how they plan to revive the country's economy.
On Friday 26th November 2021, Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga began his two-day tour of Nyeri County to drum his bid and Azimio LA Umoja. He was accompanied by ten governors both from Mt. Kenya region and Nyanza region and several members of Parliament. The meeting that took place in morning at Kabiruini Stadium was for the elders in the region. Later in the evening ODM chief addressed the youths in another meeting.
What catched my attention is the difference of attire in the two event. While Raila Odinga was attending the elders meeting, he was donned in grew Kaunda shirt and official trouser, but in youths meeting he change to Fashion puff half jacket and jeans. His different dressing code was purposely to reflect different occasions and personality in the two different events.
