Kenya has 47 counties each with it's own governor and deputy governor who are considered to be the top leaders. County governors play a big role in ensuring there is development and enhancement of the regions they execute their power over. They are only allowed to be in office for a maximum period of two terms after which another person is elected to take control of the county.

Currently there are two governors who can be the best duo to preside over the mantle of leadership as president and deputy president respectively. This is based on the fact that they have had a good development record in their counties since they entered office in 2013.

They are Kakamega County governor Wycliffe Oparanya and his Machakos counterpart Alfred Mutua. Before being elected their counties were not in a good state but went on to change things to most people's fascination. They have engaged in building roads and supporting the growth of economies in their areas something that ought to be emulated by many other leaders in the country.

Mutua is the current leader of Maendeleo Chap Chap party while Oparanya is the deputy party leader of ODM which is under the patronage of the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. They have remained loyal to their parties and none of them has shown wavering signs of defecting to other political camps.

Should there be any chances of these two joining forces for Mutua to run as president and Oparanya as his deputy, there winning will be bring a lot of changes to the country because they are leaders who are known for doing their work in a better way. This will help improve the economy and even search for more ways of protecting what the country gains in form of taxes.
