Kenyans React to Pandora Paper That Exposed President Uhuru Kenyatta's Offshore Accounts

Different people have shown different reaction to the Pandora Paper expose which has implicated president Uhuru Kenyatta and his family of having millions of Dollars stashed in offshore accounts. President Uhuru Kenyatta's close men believe that the Deputy President William has more than that while the president's critics got a chance to criticize the regime more.

"These #PandoraPapers are FISHY - the TIMING. If Ruto's house in SUGOI is worth 1.5 Billion, how are the Kenyatta's worth 3 billion? How are they worth 2 Ruto Houses? Do not INSULT our intelligence @johnallannamu. You used to THINK." Mutahi Ngunyi on Twitter. "In Panama, client 13173 went and opened a foundation where they donated billions of Kenyan money then nominated themselves and their children as beneficiaries of the charitable work they had done to escape paying taxes and identification. This documentary is mind blowing." A Kenyan Twitter User reacting to Pandora Paper.

As Kenyan president mounted anti-corruption comeback, his family’s secret fortune expanded offshore wealth. To Swiss advisers who helped them funnel wealth into tax havens, the Kenyatta family were simple ‘Client 13173’.

In 2018 President Uhuru Kenyatta demanded that "the assets of every civil servant must be publicly disclosed so that people can question what is legitimate". The Pandora Paper Documents now show Kenyatta and his mother as beneficiaries of a secret foundation in Panama."
