Kipchumba Murkomen and Joho hold hands in Bomas as they wait for the presidential election results.

A picture of Hassan Joho and Kipchumba Murkomen shaking hands in Bomas has surfaced. They are both supporters of DP Ruto.

The two figures are DP Ruto's and Raila Odinga's representatives, respectively.

William Ruto and Raila Odinga were in a tight race when the preliminary results of the presidential vote tally trickled in from all around the nation.

With George Wajackoyah and David Waihiga collecting a combined total of less than 0.5% of the vote, the two leading candidates continued to exchange the lead at just around the 50% level.

The election results revealed that Dr. Ruto's UDA ticket won in both the populated Mt. Kenya region and his Rift Valley strongholds, while Mr.In his Nyanza strongholds, the lower eastern area, and the seaside, Odinga was prosperous.

The contest came down to which candidate could sway the most voters who were still on the fence, with voting turnout at an all-time low.
