Mohammed Ali famously known as Jicho Pevu is one of the most known political leaders in the country. He is not only known because he is the current Nyali MP but he is also known because he is always vocal and extremely controversial in most occasions.
After winning the parliamentary seat on an independent ticket, Mohammed Ali went on to join Deputy President William Ruto's camp and for a period of time now, he has been popularizing Ruto seriously especially in the Coast region.
With the region being an ODM stronghold for many years, some people have been criticizing Mohammed Ali while threatening to take him home in the forthcoming general election but just recently, the popular law maker made a big move ahead of the August poll that turned many of his critics into lovers.
Through his official twitter account, Mohammed Ali revealed that he issued 10,608,000 bursary cheques to all the public secondary schools in Nyali.
