Kenya is a sovereign nation that is under the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta. Police Service Commission is under the leadership of Hillary Mutyambai who is the Inspector General of police. The police officers play key roles in the country such as arresting law breakers, confining suspected criminals regulating traffic rules.
Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo has this evening accused the police officers of arresting the citizens who break the Covid-19 containment measures while visiting and enjoying the drinks at the bars and restaurants.
Kabogo has called upon the police officers to ensure the bar owners and operators are nabbed too as they are the ones who run the bars without adhering to the Covid-19 containment measures such as wearing face masks, maintaining social distance and adhering to the curfew hours.
In conclusion, the government should take serious legal action against the bar owners who don't want to comply with President Uhuru Kenyatta's directives.
