massive exodus was witnessed on Friday after a whole lot is members of Nyeri County assembly ditched Jubilee party for deputy President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party as confirmed by deputy President William Ruto.

"Welcomed the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Majority Leader and 25 out of the 30 elected MCAs of the Nyeri County Assembly to UDA. Nyandarua County Assembly’s Deputy Speaker, Majority Leader and 17 elected MCAs have also decamped from Jubilee to UDA. It is Uchumi Kwanza tim," the DP penned.

Despite the massive exodus, the county Governor Mutahi Kahiga has remained unmoved. However, Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has finally alleged why the governor has joined his generals in the massive move.

Through his Twitter social media handle, the lawyer has claimed that the governor chose to remain unshaken, since if dare make a move, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution (ODPP) will be knocking at his door in a matter of minutes.

"A whole County Government refuses to join azimio but instead consciously joins @UDAKenya...but the Governor can't come with them because @ODPP_KE and @DCI_Kenya will move against him in minutes...SAD!," Ahmednasir has penned.
