Kenyans are still talking about the Machakos governor Hon. Wavinya Ndeti's recent comments that she doesn't dress down and leads an expensive lifestyle.
The governor of Machakos County disclosed that she is well-dressed and appreciates fine things by saying that she had one of her suits imported from Germany. She added that English folks taught her how to dress while she attended school in England.
Hon Wavinya Ndeti said, “I am a good dresser. I have taste, I like good things and I don’t wear cheap things. One of my suits is from Germany and it is very expensive. I went to school in England and English people know how to dress.”

Waituika said, “No one likes wearing cheap things. If you have the money, wear whatever you want however much it costs. Life is short ooh.”
Tito Mutahi said, “Such statements should be kept to yourself. It sends a wrong message to the electorate who are struggling to put food on the table, pay school fees and what not.”
