ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru has informed that he, Ministry of Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i, Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Dr. Peter Munya, and Transport Cabinet Secretary Dr. James Macharia plan with the votes in favor of Raila Odinga as new details emerge.
According to the ICT boss, he has informed that they are assured of Raila Odinga's presidency through the Azimio victory come to the August 9th general elections saying that they have already reserved his vote for the former Prime Minister.
Mucheru has said that even the government is committed to seeing Raila Odinga win and that is why key figures in the cabinet naming CS Matiang'i, Peter Munya, and James Macharia are right behind the Odinga's statehouse vid since they are assured of victory. ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru said the government is committed to having Raila Odinga clinch the presidency.
“I am in government and I have jointly been working with several other people. We have all decided that our votes belong to Raila Odinga and Martha Karua,” Mr. Mucheru said.
Adding that “Fred Matiang’i, Peter Munya, James Macharia and I have decided to back Raila. Do you think this is something we are not sure of? We are willing to vote for him."
