DP Ruto Allegedly Skips Burial of UDA Nandi Hills Aspirant MP who Died in a Road Accident

Kenya Kwanza Alliance flagbear and United Democratic Alliance leader, Deputy President William Ruto allegedly failed to show up in the burial of an Aspirant who died in a road accident.

Nandi hills Member of Parliament hopeful Wesley Kogo was on Saturday buried in an emotional burial attended by key politicians from Rift Valley region.

Wesley died after being involved in a road accident while travelling to Nairobi to a vernacular talk show.

DP Ruto had taken a break from campaigns to concentrate on the Easter celebrations.

Speaking during the burial, Nandi Governor Stephen Sang described Kogo has a young man who had great vision for the Nandi hills costituency.

He described him as a leader who was not rich but was ready to bring changes in the society ad he was a great leader with ģreat vision.

Other in attendances included Kasaret MP Oscar Sudi, Soy MP Valeb Kositany, Kimilili Didmus Barasa, Nandi Senator Samson Cherangei and several MCA's.

His death led UDA primaries in the Constituency to be postponed until tomorrow to allow time for his burial.

Kogo was expected to face off with other hopeful aspirants for UDA tickets.

His opponents included Nandi hills Incumbent MP Alfred Keter, Bernard Kitur, Ms.Irene Jemutai, Robert Chepkowny, Irene Lelei and Mr. Abraham Limo.
