Kenyan-American professor, Makau Mutua while reacting on Ruto's Interview with Citizen TV's Linus Kaikai, made a statement that many thought was an endorsement. DP William Ruto was confident, thoughtful, bold, and articulate in his interview with Linus Kaikai on citizen TV Kenya. The man is ready for anything. Watch out!" Makau stated.
Many wondered how a great critic of Ruto would make such a statement, the discussion has been that Mutua finally realized Ruto is the best Presidential candidate. However, according to Mutua, his statement did not mean to endorse Ruto. Mutua says that he was just impressed with Ruto's performance in that Interview but he still believes Ruto is unfit for Presidency.
"The so-called Hustler Nation should stop ulalating. My compliments for Williams Ruto for his IMPRESSIVE performance in the interview with Linus Kaikai of citizen TV kenya wasn’t an ENDORSEMENT or a flip-flop. I UNEQUIVOCALLY still believe he’s UNFIT to be PORK. Calm down."
