DP William Ruto Hits 50% While Raila Is At 48% In The Latest Provisional Results Counted So Far.

The voting counting process is still ongoing. Most of the leaders in the country have known their fate. The race that is generating alot of tension is that of the president. Raila Odinga and William Ruto are racing with each other side by side.

So far, in the latest provisional results as at 9:09PM, William Somoei Ruto is commanding a lead with 50.64%. He has 3,712,778 total votes. Raila Amollo Odinga is at 48.70%. He has so far gathered 3,571,098 total votes. George Wajackoyah is at 0.43% with a total of 31,538 total votes. Waihiga Mwaure of the Agano Party is at 0.23% with 16,787 total votes.

As reported by Nations, they have counted a total of 7,332,201 total votes from 23,705 of 46,229 polling stations.

The winner of the presidential elections needs 50%+1 of the valid votes cast and at least 25% votes in more than 24 counties. They both have a long way to go.
