The Kiambu county gubernatorial race is going to be among the most competitive races in the August general elections. The aspirants are strong and enjoy support in equal measures. However, it is a competition and only one person should emerge the winner. For that reason, the former governor honourable William Kabogo has tightened his fight for the position.
Today, he traversed different corners of the county to woo voters to give him their votes. He then took to Facebook to say that they must all agree that embezzlement of Public resources witnessed in Kiambu County in the last 5 years has denied our People access to quality and affordable Healthcare, education, access to clean water and burdened the people with taxes. That they must reverse this trend immediately. He was glad to interact with the residents of Gatongora and Theta wards who are in agreement and shall walk with him.
He was joined by Tujibebe Wakenya Party Candidates, Hon. Alice W. Gathekia Kiambu County Senator aspirant, Dorcas Wanjiru Chege Juja Constituency mp aspirant, Hon. Rose Wanjiru Kimani mca Theta ward aspirant and Peris Wachomba mca Gatong'ora Ward aspirant. They spoke with one voice that Kabogo has to take the seat back the seat and continue making Kiambu the best place to be.
It should be noted that since Kabogo and Wamatangi exchanged bitter words in public, Kabogo withdrew from the Kenya Kwanza campaigns and has been pushing to make sure that he woo the residents to vote for him. Since then, he has been having a soft spot for Raila and at one point z he even seemed to be campaigning for the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party flag bearer.
