Sources have whispered to us that the Migori Governor is upbeat to meeting with Raila Odinga face to face so that to scold him over impeachment plans.
“I wish I had found him here. But I know soon we will meet face to face in public to tell him off over the impeachment motion against me,” Obado made the declaration some few days ago.
That despite the family warning politicians not to do politics at their home, it will be impossible to stop politicians from speaking.
Mr. Odinga and Obado will be sharing the podium despite the ongoing impeachment plans believed to be fully sponsored by Mr. Odinga.
Obado’s removal plans have however turned up to be an uphill task for the ODM top leadership as the local assembly has since been divided into two groups with Obado commanding a big chunk of members.
Though Mr. Odinga has been quiet over the governor’s ouster, his remarks in today’s function will set the stage for another round of the impeachment process which has seen MCAs trade blows on the floor.
Migori Senator Ochillo Ayacko who will be in attendance, is also supporting Obado’s removal due to graft charges he(the governor) is facing in court and it will be interesting to see how they will be tackling each other in the Friday burial service.
Obado with his family were recently dragged and charged in court for misappropriating billions of county funds.
