According to an update by Siaya Governor James Orengo, he was part of the delegation that today attended a high-profile meeting that brought together several governors from different Counties Across The Nation.

The meeting was also attended by two cabinet secretaries in ruto's administration who were recently sworn in. The two leaders included the cabinet secretary in charge of agriculture Mithika Linturi together with the cabinet secretary in charge of mining the Salim Mvurya.

The meeting which was chaired by the council of governors leader kirinyaga governor Anne waiguru discussed among other things the importance of Agriculture with the key aim being sustainable agriculture for food security in the country. The leaders unanimously agreed to work together in a sharing is that Kenya become a food secure nation in Coming years.
