Mike Sonko shared a photo of him meeting with the former governor of Nairobi, Ann Kananu. She took over charge of the capital city after Sonko was impeached from office.
Sonko was impeached from office on 17th December 2020, on abuse of office, gross misconduct and crimes under national law. Ann Kananu replaced him.
The photo that Sonko shared the two are seen smiling, raising and clinking their glasses with different drinks. Sonko is seen having apple juice while Kananu drinks water from a water bottle.
Sonko has ended his enemity with Kananu after he captioned on the post that there is no permanent enemity in politics and that they will embrace each other going forward.
”There's no permanent enemity in politics let's embrace each other going foward,” said Sonko.
The two former governors of Nairobi were supporting Odinga's presidency in Azimio before Sonko decamped and started supporting President Ruto.
