Mombasa Governor, Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir has been busy meeting with other Political Leaders and development partners in recent days. The ODM Governor today received First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto at the Moi International Airport.

The wife to President William Ruto, Mama Rachel is in Mombasa County for an official tour and residents are eagerly waiting to see the good things she has gone with. Gov. Sharif Nassir is a close ally of Azimio Leader, Raila Odinga and has been associating with Kenya Kwanza Leaders a move which has elicited mixed reactions.
Yesterday the Mombasa Governor met with Nyali MP who is a staunch UDA Party Member during launch of School feeding programme in Mombasa. The ODM Governor seems to be interested in bringing development to Mombasa residents despite political alienation of the Leaders he is working with.
