Kandara Constituency Member of Parliament Alice Wahome has sent a special request to all the Kenyans. The MP who has been a strong supporter of DPWilliam Ruto has urged Kenyans to pray for the president seriously.
"President of the Republic of Kenya . Not Himself. Serious Prayers needed", read a tweet by the legislator. Wahome made the special request after the president declared that he would not hand over powers to a thief.
The President's remarks have caused uproar among Kenyans saying that he should not have made the remarks since he is also among those named in graft. It is anticipated that the president was indirectly referring to deputy president William Ruto. The two have not been in good political terms since the handshake between Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime minister Raila Odinga took place.
Who do you think the president will hand over the powers to when his term comes to an end? Share your views
