The bitter coincillors said that the National government, had approved and gazetted their benneficial funds for the good work they did but wondered why the Kisii county government never effected it.They appealed to the CS for interior security Dr.Fred Matiang'i to forward their grievances to President Uhuru Kenyatta for review."Our counterparts from other countries have been paid but we are left in the island of poverty."They lamented.photo:Fred Matiang'i.
The cited counties like Kitui and West Pokot where the the former councillors were given their retirement finances and asked the Kisii county to borrow a leave from them.They asked the Dagorretti North MP.Simba Arati to join hands with Matiang'i to follow up the matter because Arati,they argued, is more considerate than Maangi.The councillors vowed to support Arati for his quest for gubernatorial seat in Kisii county during the forth coming National elections.photo:Simba Arati.
