Kenyans React After Seeing Ruto Buying Bananas From Local Traders at Wundanyi, Mwatate, Taita-Taveta

The Deputy President, Dr William Samoei Ruto ignited a hot debate online when he was seen buying some bananas from the local traders at Wundanyi and Mwatate in Taita-Taveta County. (Courtesy photo)

According to his recent post, he stated that the bottom-up economic development plan that they are advancing places small enterprises at the core of it's workings.

He added that it propagates for a favourable environment that will free businesses from the bondage of exploitative financial institutions. He said this will boost their growth, generating more jobs and income to millions of ordinary kenyans(Courtesy photo)

He confirmed that he took part in empowerment of small-scale traders in Wundanyi, and mwatate Towns, Taita-Taveta County, in company of MPs Lydia Haika (Taita-Taveta), Khatib Mwashetani (Lunga Lunga) and Former Governor John MruttuHis post attracted several comments from Kenyans, majority of them praised him for empowering the small-scale traders in Taita-Taveta County.
