Deputy President Dr William Ruto is in process of working towards ensuring that he succeeds his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta in the forthcoming general elections. It has therefore been revealed that the Deputy President has gone to an extent of picking various top brains in the country to assist him in planning and strategizing for the hotly contested 2022 presidential election.
According to the Thursday 23rd ''Daily Nation'' publication, the Deputy President has run for the top economists, former diplomats, political experts, professors, human rights activists and lawyers to help him in crafting his 2022 campaign strategy.
According to the publication, the Deputy President has chosen individuals like Political expert Professor Edward Kisiang'ani, Economist Dr David Ndii, political strategist Dr Irene Asianga and Professor Raphael Munavu. According to the publication, the above move by the Deputy President is a clear indication of his passion to succeed the current Head of State President Uhuru Kenyatta.
