Kakamega Senator Hon Cleophas Malala has sent a warning to Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i and his counterpart in Health Mutahi Kagwe together with Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa to step aside from their government positions and join politics.
This comes after the three cabinet secretaries while during a function in Nyamira recently threw their weight behind Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Hon Raila Odinga noting he is the best suited to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
And now outspoken Senator Cleophas Malala who is aspiring to be the Governor of Kakamega County has bluntly lectured the three urging them to now resign from their positions and get directly involved in politics.
"Cabinet Secretaries Hon. @FredMatiangi, Hon. @EugeneLWamalwa and @MOH_Kenya CS Hon. Mutahi Kagwe should step aside from their positions for directly participating in the campaigns of @RailaOdinga, a political candidate in the forthcoming 2022 elections whilst still in office." The Kakamega Senator noted.
