Form 34C Will Be Used By Chebukati to Declare the Winner
As the counting of votes from more than 46,000 polling places nationwide proceeded Tuesday night, presidential results began to trickle in.
On Tuesday, August 9, more than 22 million Kenyans cast ballots to choose six elective seats' representatives.
All of the results were recorded in Forms 34As and were deemed official by presiding officers at tallying centers.
What Kenyans Should Know.
Still, IEBC has not been able to finish counting the votes. The results you are seeing on your Television screens are not the final results.
IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati is the one who will give Kenyans the final results.
According to IEBC, the candidate is expected to be announced as the winner if he emerges with 50 plus one vote from all the 47 counties.
Currently, William Ruto is leading with 1.783 million votes against Raila who is close at 1.734 million.
