The race to unite Mount Kenya region has kicked off despite the more divisions that have continued to play out in public.
As per the reports,there would be a Mount Kenya region meeting in Embu on Monday next week.
The agenda of the meeting has been reported to be looking for ways to unite the Mount Kenya region,and rally them behind one candidate for 2022 presidency.
Leaders who are leading such talks are TSP party leader Mwangi Kiunjuri, Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua and Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria.
Among the leaders who are expected to attend the meeting include Embu senator Lenny Kivuti,Mpuri Apuri,Thuo Mathenge and Esau Kioni.Other parties invited include Chama Cha Kazi, People's Party of Kenya among others.
Jacob Gitau, the PKK party leader said they have also invited UDA leaders and those of Jubilee party.He further said the main agenda of the meeting,is to look for possible avenues to unite Mount Kenya region.
