Deputy president William Ruto has continued to pursue his presidential aspirations for 2022 and has today visited Narok county where he financially empowered the residents. He was able to teach them on the importance of cooperative societies and ways they can use it to escape poverty.
He told Narok residents that cooperative societies widen financial and market access that empower Kenyans. The cooperative society is named Hustler Cooperative Saco and saw several residents register.
The deputy president also presented a school bus to Illmotiook Secondary School that is located in Narok West Constituency.
Photos from the event have emerged and many people have noticed the huge crowd attracted by the deputy.
The deputy president's gesture has however not gone unnoticed by several Kenyans who have taken to social media to express their views. They have stated that he is popularly known for issuing wheelbarrows and motorbikes in Mt. Kenya areas but do not do the same in his home region.
Many have acknowledged of how much of a bigger name Ruto has become recently in most cases pulling in larger crowds even than the president.
