ODM Top Official Hints of Working With Like-Minded Political Figures For 2022 Polls

A day after Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi hinted of working with ODM party leader Raila Odinga, a close ally of the Former Prime Minister has okayed the idea.

The party's Chairman John Mbadi according to a report by the Standard stated that the ODM party was keen to form a formidable coalition with open-minded political leaders for the next elections.

Although Mbadi said that the party is first focusing on the BBI report, he affirmed that they would reach to Musalia Mudavadi who is now a member of the One Kenya Alliance after the BBI sails through the referendum.

“We are not averse to talking to anybody, we know that going forward we would need alliances. But for now we have said we want to put on hold any talks about alliances until after the BBI is passed at the referendum. We will discuss with many people, including Mudavadi, when that time comes,” posed Mbadi.

Welcoming a merger with Raila, Mudavadi stated that the members of the One Kenya Alliance are determined to solve issues affecting Kenyans, and are not doing it for their own personal gains.
