Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has today held a press briefing at KICC where he has moved to reject the presidential election results.
While delivering his speech, Raila has declared the results announced by Chebukati as null and void adding that there is no winner or elected president based on their view.
"Figures announced by Mr Chebukati are null and void and must be quashed by a court of law. In our view there is neither a legally and validly declared winner nor a president-elect," said honorable Raila Odinga.
Raila has cited allleged reasons such as the disregard of the constitution by the IEBC chairman who made the declaration yesterday.
"He acted with cross impunity and in total disregard of the constitution and our laws. He could have plunged our country into chaos had our supporters not exercised great restraint. Such plundered act of impunity can be a threat to the security of our country," added honorable Raila Odinga.
