William Ruto Ends His Nyeri Tour Successfully As The Region Pledge To Support Him.

William Ruto's three-day tour to Nyeri county has emotionally come to an end. These are not tears of pain, but tears of joy. The second in command has received a heroic welcome in the region. The residents showed their love and turned in large numbers to welcome him and listened to his agenda.

He used his tour to urge the residents to support his presidential bid as he is the right man to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in next year's general elections. He promised the region's development if he will be elected the 5th president of the Republic of Kenya.

His tour also bore fruits when the Nyeri governor Mutahi Kahiga hinted that he was on his way to joining United Democratic Alliance stating that he has been left lonely in Jubilee. He vowed not to follow ODM leader Raila Odinga. Tetu member of parliament Mwangi Gichui also used that opportunity to board the UDA brigade.

Ruto further said that he knows that from February next year, many people will join UDA stating that others have been threatened and coerced. So they are silent to protect their jobs, he advised them not to be intimidated and rather stand strong in what they believe in.

This has left him in tears of joy because of the love the people of Nyeri showed him. His welcome in the area was one of its own.
