The children I Give Bursaries Have Been Sent home, What Will I Tell People. Gilgil MP Martha Says.

MP Martha Wangari: "This National Government-Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) is not punishing MPs.

The children I support through bursaries have been sent home. I don't know what to tell people. There is no alternative that is provided."

Ms Wangari was declared winner with 9,845 votes against Mr Gatimu’s 6,805. But Mr Gatimu cried foul over the outcome, lamenting what he termed a shambolic process.

He claimed his agents were denied access to polling centres and that the total number of votes cast exceeded the turnout.

Kenyans reacts to her claim:

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞: Bursary should be awarded by the national govt equally to all deserving kids. We cannot have some kids getting 50k while others get 2k. BBI was to be an equaliser

𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬: Uhuru should give Dr. Ruto able time to liberate the economy. Worry less Martha all will be well soon for those poor kids with no school fees🙏

𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐲: CDF should be channelled to county/sub-county offices. MPIGS have proved unfit in handling the kitty because of greed and biasness. Let the senate monitor the county on the use of the kitty.

𝐌𝐚𝐮: CDF was in one way useful to many but only some few individuals tend to misuse them, the vulnerable in the society used to benefit from it.👌
