The Amani National Congress Party leader honorable Musalia Mudavadi will face a lot of headache when it comes to the politician who will be the ANC flag bearer for the Kakamega county Gubernatorial seat. It has emerged that three top officials in the party are eyeing that same seat and they are all loyal party members and leaders.
Among the top politicians are the Kakamega Senator honorable Cleophas Malala, the Lugari Member of Parliament honorable Ayub Savula and Amukowa Anangwe who is a former Cabinet Minister. Honorable Savula is the deputy party leader and he is the second in command in the party.
The Kakamega Senator had last week dismissed his position as the deputy leader in a statement that also had Musalia mudavadi’s name. The statement was however dismissed as fake by the party. It is still not clear who will vie for the Gubernatorial seat using the ANC ticket because all the three candidates are heavyweights.
