In the recent goverment, governors have been facing it rough. Some of them like Waititu and Mike Mbuvi Sonko have even been impeached while others like Anne Waiguru, Granton Samboja, Martin Wambora, Okoth Obado and others have been surviving the axe.
Just recently after serving his terms as the Council of Governors Chairperson, Kakamega county Governor Wycliffe Oparanya retired. An election was conducted and Embu Governor Martin Wambora was the lucky person to replace him. There were plenty of celebrations in Embu after he landed that job but as we are speaking, the honeymoon for Wambora seems over.
That is because reports indicate that some MCAs are not comfortable with how he is running the county after landing the top job. With that in mind, there is a looming trouble to Wambora who may yet again face impeachment just days after his successes.
It is a time that Martin Wambora needs to trade very carefully. He may end up being beaten this time round even if he is a man of nine lives.
