"No MP, MCA from Busia Present," Kenyans React To Ruto' s Reception In ODM's Political Backyard


As the race to State House picks fire, even though Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission Chairman Wafula Chebukati is yet to declare the seats vacant with now less than months Left, Deputy President William Ruto on Saturday 23, took his bottoms up economic development model campaign in ODM's long political backyard, Busia county.


Through a post shared to his twitter page, the UDA associate embarked on his second and final tour of empowerment and meeting the people of Busia county, where he engaged women, small scale traders and youths in stopovers of Bumula, Butula, Matayos and Nambale.

"Embarked on our second and final day of empowerment and meet people of Busia county where we engaged women, small scale traders and youths of Butula, Bumula, Matayos and Nambale." Reads his post.


He was in company of Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa, Garisaa town MP Aden Duale, Benjamin Washiali of Mumias East, Dan Wanyama MP Webuye East and Busia Women Rep aspirant Susan Mang'eni.


However, Kenyans on twitter are left in mixed reactions considering out of the 7MPs from the region with 5 being Raila's ODM elected MPs and 2 from Mudavadi's ANC missing in the reception despite, pooling mammoth crowd. Reactions as attached;
