There has been allegations that the chairman of the senior council of Kenya Ahmednasir Abdulahi influenced the BBI judgement if what he has been posting on his social media platforms is something to go by. He has denied the allegations saying that he doesn't have the IQ of the high court or the court of appeal judges.
The Makueni governor Hon Kivutha Kibwana seems to endorse him alleging that he is truthful. Kibwana was among the petitioners who went to court to seek clarity on some matters which were contained in the BBI report.
"They wonder Ahmednasir why you were not counsel in the high flying high court case and the court of appeal sequel, and therefore assume you were either a clandestine counsel or proxy judge. But knowing you for many years, you are a truthful person. You simply decided: I PASS." Governor Kibwana.
This whole issue of the Building Bridges Initiative have elicited debates across the political divide where a good number of both the political class and those out of politics are expressing their feelings on the judgement which seems to give a permanent injury on the BBI bill.
This was focused on the interview with the president where he faulted the court for misguided judgement as he put it.
