Former Presidential Candidate Aukot Advices Raila To Take This Action After Ruto Was Declared Winner

Presidential candidate Raila Odinga yesterday lost presidential seat to Deputy President William Ruto. Ruto was announced as President elect by IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati at Bomas of Kenya. This summed a total of five unsuccessful trials by Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

Following this announcement, former presidential candidate Ekuru Aukot has advised the ODM leader not to take politics to the Supreme court. "Don't take politics to the Supreme court," he said. Ekuru claims that, supreme court will only decide on legal issues and not politics. "The Supreme court will only decide on legal issues, sio siasa," he added.

There are many expectations from the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya alliance before Ruto is sworn in. Raila Odinga might head to Supreme court to challenge IEBC results after four commissioners pulled out of the decision to declare Ruto president elect by Wafula Chebukati. Do you think this is the best advice for Raila? What advice will you give Mr Odinga?
