The former independent electoral and boundaries commission (iebc) commissioner last night reacted to Siaya governor James Orengo's remarks after hosting president William Ruto who toured the county to grace the home coming thanksgiving ceremony of the ICT cabinet secretary Eliud Owalo yesterday in Siaya.
In a tweet on his official Twitter account, Orengo stated that it was an honour hosting the head of state in his county, in response to his tweet, Dr Akombe expressed her satisfaction wishing the county boss all the best while serving the people of Siaya.
Through her official Twitter page, Akombe stated, "The governor job suits you very well Orengo James. In the end, it is delivery of services to citizens that matters most. Wishing you all the best as you work for the people of Siaya."
In conclusion, president William Ruto received a warm reception in Nyanza region in his two day visit after the ODM leader Raila Odinga urged elected leaders in the region to welcome home.
