The minority whip who is the member of parliament for Suna East has claimed that president Ruto is now enticing the IEBC commissioners with money to resign. His remarks comes after two out of the four IEBC Commissioners who disowned presidential results announced by Wafula Chebukati in the previous election have resigned. The two commissioners who have resigned are Justus Nyang’aya and IEBC vice chairperson Juliana Cherera.
Additionally, Junet has alleged that President Ruto brought a petition to parliament and took it through JLAC by force. Then he brought it to the to the house and passed it at night using Kenya Kwanza MPs.
Junet Mohamed said, “If you brought a petition to parliament and took it through JLAC forcefully, brought it to the plenery of the House and passed it at NIGHT with KK Mps and the same evening formed a tribunal and had the CJ swear them at NIGHT then why are you enticing them with Money to resign!”
