What President Ruto Said he is Going to do With Raila and Uhuru While in Nyeri

President William Ruto on Tuesday addressed mourners in Mathira Constituency in Nyeri county who attended the burial of Reriani Gachagua, the eldest brother of the Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua who died a week ago.

The head of state while addressing residents said that the time for elections and politics is over and it is high time that all leaders unite and work with the government for the betterment of the country. President Ruto also added that leaders should now exercise tolerance.

He further stated that during the campaign period, he competed against retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Hon Raila Amolo Odinga but now that he emerged as the winner he will respect the duo going forward.

"We finished matters of competition, we competed against many people, our President Uhuru Kenyatta, we also competed against former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and many others. Now we are done with the competition we give them the respect they deserve. We are going to respect everybody" He said.

President Ruto also urged various arms of government to work and execute their mandate as required by the law. He urged the legislature and the judiciary to work independently as per the Constitution. He also urged the opposition to conduct their oversight role.
