Anne Waiguru Spells Doom for Dp Ruto's Presidency as She Says This About the Kikuyu Vote in 2022

With the presidential election in 2022 just around the corner, the Mt Kenya region has become a political battleground for presidential candidates who have been camping there in an attempt to persuade the approximately six million people to back their aspirations.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Deputy President William Ruto, and Amani National Congress (ANC) Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi are among those who have camped in the vote-rich province.

As things are, Ruto has a sizable following in the region, but Raila Odinga has also made inroads in what is widely seen as President Uhuru Kenyatta's political backyard.

In a statement about how the Mt Kenya region will vote in 2022, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru stated that no presidential candidate should tell himself/herself that he/she has taken control of the mountain.

“These presidential aspirants will go out and seek votes for themselves.

"Right now, nobody can argue that Mt Kenya is putting all of its eggs in one basket," Waiguru added.

Ruto and his troops were ecstatic that they had regained possession of the mountain.
