Machakos Town Member of Parliamnet Victor Munyaka on Thursday praised Deputy President William Ruto after attending a consultative meeting at his Karen Residence.
The DP Had hosted spiritual leaders from Makueni County when the Jubilee lawmaker fearlessly drummed up his support for Ruto's presidential ambitions come next year.
Munyaka argued that since he joined the political space, he has never seen a leader eyeing the top seat engaging netizens across the country to get their views on what they want an incoming administration to do, until he met the former Eldoret North MP.
"I have never seen an aspirant for the presidency doing public participation with voters across the country. He is anointed. He has come up with a plan to empower the ordinary citizens through the Bottom-up model and ensure that the country's economy is boosted," said Munyaka.
He criticized he other presidential candidates stating that they had united in tribal lines to defeat the DP since they had found out he is powerful and will possibly take over from President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Ruto has stood his ground that the best option to revive the economy is attending to the 'hustlers.'
